Metro Denver Home Prices Set Another Record High

The pace of year-over-year growth in metro-Denver home prices continues to speed up, and the region has set a new record high for resale prices, according to the latest monthly S&P/Case-Shiller Home Prices Index report, issued Tuesday.

The average resale price of single-family homes in the Denver area in December was up 8.1 percent from a year earlier, following year-over-year gains of 7.5 percent in November, 7.2 percent in October and 6.2 percent in September, according to the closely-followed report from S&P Dow Jones Indices.
